Aquatherm Spray Deck with Adjustable Waist"
Our Aquatherm Spray Deck with Adjustable waist is a lightweight revolutionary design. Ideal for slalom, sea kayaking, polo, touring and recreational use. Draw cord waistband.
All decks can also be attached to all tops. The fabric’s outer surface is 20 times more abrasion resistant than neoprene. Aquatherm deck fabric has 360 degree stretch, instant memory return, and has 80% less volume and weight compared with traditional neoprene products without compromising performance. It is comfortable, durable and supple, UV stable, waterproof and fast drying. A popular choice for competition disciplines: slalom, polo, surf, sprint / marathon and river racing as well as for sea kayaking / touring and recreational use. For rodeo, whitewater, extreme conditions, and for practising rescues, we recommend our neoprene decks.
Fitting: Boat Cockpit Size: We keep a number of standard boat cockpit sizes, but please check with us. If your boat is more unusual, then we may need you to trace the outer edge of your cockpit and mark on your seat position on newspaper and mail it to us. Our mailing address is on our home page. Full information on deck sizes can be seen on our Size Guide (button above).

It fits perfectly and it keeps me dry.
I used neoprene before but I was always a little wet.
Unpacked and really wondered if this stiff, seemingly small would fit me and my kayak, in spite of sending all my details.
Test day, sunny 7m/s, air 12 C, water 17 C conditions I dressed in one thin base layer under semi dry-cag and windproof jogging tight(great for heat transfer). Slipped on spraydeck really nice and flexible fit. Got into kayak and found that spray deck fit perfect as well as reasonably easy to release. Paddled 3 hours in medium to high pace. Great freedom of movement and a lot less condensation under spray deck, naturally warm and sweaty in lower back. Waist of spray deck stayed up with no “leaking” effects compared to basic nylon spray deck bought with kayak. Great product! Eager or see how it works in coming colder conditions.
I recently bought the fixed waist skirt with a bale port for my Artisan Millennium. It is really a fine skirt. The bale port would be superfluous if you launch in a calm as there is no opportunity for water to enter. I launched off beach with some oncoming waves and the skirt was a bit tight to apply and so I did take a little water. Using the port to remove the excess water worked without a hitch. Great Product.

I am an older lady and although pretty fit, my grip is not what it was. Consequently I struggle with neoprene decks and also find them too bulky and cumbersome to lug around, especially when wet. I absolutely love my aquatherm trousers and top which keep me completely dry, so thought I would treat myself to an aquatherm deck. I belong to several clubs in London so use different kayaks at each. I went for the big deck with an adjustable toggle to fit all , plus map loops so I can take a small drybag. I tested the deck for five days last week during the half term youth club scheme I volunteer at and was splashed, swamped and deluged with rain too. The deck was amazing, not a drop of water got in, I had no trouble fitting it, it rolls up really small for transportation and is extremely well made. I am so pleased, worth every penny!

Material is nice. It is watertight. But with ChillCheaters Touring Cag my belly gets exposed when doing the butterfly roll. Would have not guessed it, I did bought the Cag from the same manufacturer just to get both work nicely together. Simply put: Spray Skirts waist is too short.

I like simple things that work well and this is a very simple spray deck that does the job faultlessly

I bought this for my homebuilt Frej with ocean cockpit and it fits perfectly. The adjustable waist holds up nicely but is of course not totally watertight for rolling. Works fine to keep bad weather out for several hours though. Good flex makes it easy to move around.
