Reed Paddlers Around the World, Introducing..... Xema Romero from Jose Maria, Spain

A graphic designer, Xema has been photographing nature for many years. His attention is drawn to nature and water in general and the creatures that thrive in it - seeing kayaking as another way to enjoy the water and continue to learn from our Earth. We've been lucky enough to have Xema share some of his amazing photos and film with us, Do check out his blog South Shore Kayak and if your Spanish isn't quite up to scratch then good old Google translate will be happy to help! Here's what Xema has to say about his Reed gear: "Currently I wear a tuiliq deck style and dry pants in winter, spring and autumn, pants are only for winter. I carry Reed gloves in my hatch but I am needing them just a few weeks at year. I love my tuiliq because it´s really comfortable and dry... I am into the Greenland style for a few years and I tested a lot of gear, Aquatherm is really what I was looking for. I use my tuiliq even when going to surf with my kayak, quite comfortable and gives me the freedom of movements I need. I recommended the Reed tuiliq to all my paddling friends, most of them have got one and they are quite happy with them. Now I am planning to get some Reed clothes for summer time - spraydecks and t-shirts."
