HOW DO I WASH AND CARE FOR MY AQUATHERM AND AQUATHERM FLEECE GARMENTS?
For Aquatherm®, Superstretch Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®: Turn garment inside out. Short, warm, delicate wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water, (not detergent). Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin. Do not wring. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.
Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water ingress in the double fabric seals then it can drain easily.
WHY IS THERE WATER IN THE CUFFS/NECK SEALS OF MY AQUATHERM GARMENT?
Sometimes the double fabric cuffs, neck & ankle seals make take in small amounts of water during use or when washed. This can be easily remedied when drying the garment by hanging it on the line by its cuffs, neck or ankle seals, thus allowing any water to drain out.
The possible ingress of water into cuffs, neck & ankle seals will not compromise the serviceability of your garment, it is due to taping on the knitted surface on the inside of the garments. The garment itself remains waterproof, keeping you dry and comfortable. We see any small ingress issue as a minor trade-off against the excellent features of a comfortable knitted surface on the inside of Reed garments and non-splitting, non-latex, comfortable double Aquatherm cuffs & seals.
HOW DO I WASH AND CARE FOR MY TRANSPIRE FLEECE GARMENTS?
Turn inside out. Short, warm wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry or spin. Warm iron. Do not bleach. May be dried over radiators but not on excessive heat. Very low heat tumble dry.

These are made to measure and so please complete our measurement chart, giving your chest, waist, hip, ankle, height, and inside leg measurement, and submit this with your order once you have added to basket.
Aquatherm® fabric has been developed to enable wearers to remain warm and dry for sport or leisure, in a whole range of conditions. It is a lightweight fabric that offers great freedom of movement, far more so than with traditional, bulkier neoprene and woven garments.
It is essential that the garment is working with the athlete, unlike earlier neoprene fabrics, where the athlete is more often working against the garment. Aquatherm is less than a millimetre thick and remains stable, flexible, strong and waterproof when fully flexed. Unlike neoprene, it has the added advantage of being water-shedding and fast drying, so less temperature is lost from the wet outer shell through evaporation.

Probably my 6th set of this fantastic kit. I've used these fleeces for paddling and have also worn them for just chilling during the winter. I also use the tops for winter cycling.
They're top quality products and so comfortable.
Fits as it should. Keeps the weather & Beasties out. With a bungee it can be used as an emergency hatch cover too !! although Reeds do sell Emergency hatch covers. The sun is out too which is nice. I might walk along the beach later.

Ordered a custom hatch cover for an old sea kayak and sent off a template the same day. Received a shipping notification the following morning and rang up to check that they hadn't sent me a standard cover by mistake. No, they had received the template, made up the cover and dispatched it. Arrived the following day and it fits perfectly! Very impressed
Bought my third Aquatherm Fleece product recently, this time the long sleeved top. Bought my first Aquatherm Fleece twin seal cag years and years ago and its the best bit of kit I've ever bought, smells a bit if you dont wash it after use and you must let it dry properly, but in return it will serve you well. I have some trousers too, the joint tape is starting to go, but they are almost 15 years old so what can you expect?

Work well with my Greenland stick.
They get wetter but that is because there are no rubbers to prevent water running down the grip, no fault of the poggies.
Ordered the wrong size, but the item itself is perfect, fits the kayak perfectly and Reed customer services have been great in organising a replacement
I use them to go rowing. They are good but make sure you wear them in a neoprene boot or they puncture. I have boots with a zip so easy to get off.
