Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®

Recommend hand washing with warm soapy water.

Turn garment inside out. Short, warm, delicate wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin. Do not wring.

Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water left then it can drain away easily.

Store clean and dry indoors away from heat and direct sunlight

Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat

How do I wash and care for my Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece® garments?

For Aquatherm®, Super-stretch Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®:

Turn the garment inside out.
Use a short, warm, delicate wash with a maximum temp 40 degrees C° in mild soapy water .
Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
Do not spin.
Do not wring.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not bleach.
Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.
Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water ingress in the double fabric seals then it can drain easily.

After nearly 40 years of kayaking this is a new item to me and it came into it's own at the weekend. The sun was out but the wind was cold so when we stopped for a break all I had to do was pull it on over everything and the warmth was instant.
I think the colour is excellent too should it be required on the water.

They work well and are light and easy to put on. perhaps some food for thought may be the addition of say a velcro strip at the tops so as they can be made to fit more snugly but a good product and service

Aquatherm Knee High Socks

Perfect spray deck

I ordered this after attending a sea kayak symposium where LOADS of people had Reed spray decks. They looked great so I wanted to try one. The adjustable size is perfect to get over hips and then be snug around my waist. Also can have different numbers of layers on!
It’s easy to get on and off, looks sleek and smooth and performs great. I have map loops as well, which I’m looking forward to trying out. Thanks Reed!

Aquatherm Spray Deck With Adjustable Waist

The dryest spraydeck I've used.

I seem to be accumulating spray decks with examples from most of the main manufacturers. However, the two Reed Aquatherm decks are without a doubt the dryest ones I own. Both were made to fit, not just random near-enough-is-good-enough sizes and they are pretty tight on the cockpit rim, requiring a conscious effort to get them on. However, the payback for a moment struggling is a dry cockpit, even in sloppy conditions. The elastic cord around the edge is doubled up and occasionally I only get one cord in place properly if I am rushing before the next wave arrives. I have not had a deck come off though and once past the surf it is easy enough to refit the deck properly.

A great bit of kit and fast delivery too.

Just picked up my new Aquatherm Dry Cag and Spray Deck and couldn’t be happier! The build quality is outstanding — you can really tell it’s made to last. The fit is spot on, super comfortable without being restrictive, and it seals up perfectly without feeling too tight. What I really appreciate is how it strikes a balance: warm enough to cut the wind and spray, but not overly hot — ideal for paddling in NZ Northland’s milder climate. It’s clear a lot of thought went into both the design and materials. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable, lightweight gear for all conditions!

Transpire Fleece One Piece Suit

Good under my rescue drysuit

I teach water rescue, as well as paddle, so spend a lot of time actually in water, and this is comfy and warm, fits well too.

On first try it fits perfectly. Really well-made. Comfortable to wear. It was also delivered really quickly to Australia which is amazing. I haven't worn it on the sea yet as a bit too warm here still.

I have had the short sleeve version of this for about 5 years now. I’m fed up replacing latex wrist seals on other makes of long sleeve cags so went for this the long sleeve version in blue. As expected I love this top! The fit is great, wrists work wonderfully and the inside of the material feels great on skin if you wear a short sleeve rash vest. Great to be able to get ventilation when wanted. Workmen ship is superb. Highly recommended, it’s a great bit of kit.
