HOW DO I WASH AND CARE FOR MY AQUATHERM AND AQUATHERM FLEECE GARMENTS?
For Aquatherm®, Superstretch Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®: Turn garment inside out. Short, warm, delicate wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water, (not detergent). Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin. Do not wring. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.
Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water ingress in the double fabric seals then it can drain easily.
WHY IS THERE WATER IN THE CUFFS/NECK SEALS OF MY AQUATHERM GARMENT?
Sometimes the double fabric cuffs, neck & ankle seals make take in small amounts of water during use or when washed. This can be easily remedied when drying the garment by hanging it on the line by its cuffs, neck or ankle seals, thus allowing any water to drain out.
The possible ingress of water into cuffs, neck & ankle seals will not compromise the serviceability of your garment, it is due to taping on the knitted surface on the inside of the garments. The garment itself remains waterproof, keeping you dry and comfortable. We see any small ingress issue as a minor trade-off against the excellent features of a comfortable knitted surface on the inside of Reed garments and non-splitting, non-latex, comfortable double Aquatherm cuffs & seals.
HOW DO I WASH AND CARE FOR MY TRANSPIRE FLEECE GARMENTS?
Turn inside out. Short, warm wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry or spin. Warm iron. Do not bleach. May be dried over radiators but not on excessive heat. Very low heat tumble dry.

This is the short sleeved, hood-less version of our popular Touring Cag.
Our Touring Cag made with our Aquatherm® material, cag has baffle neck for venting and comfort while out on the water
The lightest thermal technical outer layer for all season paddling, offering unrestricted freedom of movement. Made from Aquatherm®Fabric.
Warm, dry, all year round coverage in these unisex, lightweight, comfortable and roomy Cags. Enough volume to get extra thermal layers underneath for colder conditions.
- Cuff seals are Single seal Aquatherm® and can be trimmed to suit
- Water-proof and wind-proof Aquatherm® body.
- Adjustable waist seal to work in conjunction with the spray deck
- All external seams stitched and taped for strength and water-proofing

Aquatherm® Single Seal Neck and Cuff System

Our neck and cuffs are made from a single layer of Aquatherm, replacing the older double layer version (sometimes shown in the product images).
The New type seals offer a better stretch and seal while maintaining its impressive integrity.
Made from a single layer of Aquatherm the material is inverted for comfort on the wrists.
This gives the cuff seal a good firm degree of stretch and is far hardier than some other wrist seals.
Aquatherm cuffs are to be trimmed by the paddler to ensure a custom fit for your discipline whether comfort, performance or a mix of both is required, instructions supplied.
The necks can also be trimmed if required.

This is the second Reed deck I've bought. The fabric is great as it dries really fast and doesn't soak up water like neoprene.
I also really like the fact that these guys have a number of different templates to fit specific boats rather than ordering a deck by size and hoping it fits.
Brilliant fast turnaround too on manufacture and delivery.
After replacing the proprietary hatches on my Valley kayak, at considerable expense, twice in six years, I decided to give Reed's aquatherm covers a try. If they turn out to be rubbish, I thought, at least I haven't spent a fortune on them. As it turns out, the're not rubbish, they keep the Atlantic out of your hatches, and when the kayak's on the car roof and you're doing 70 down the A9, they don't blow off and disappear into the verge. So they get my vote.
Customer service was great. I ordered a jacket that was too large and ended up returning it and getting a smaller one. This jacket is wonderful!
Been using Chillcheater Aquatherm Spray Decks for the past 6 years exclusively. ALL other Spray Deck's pale in comparison. Built like a tank, takes a beating and still performs in all weather conditions, from Winter below 0 C (32 F) to sultry Summer heat. Made to measure is key.
If you're going to use year round, add a CM or 2 for bulk underneath - cag, thermals, drysuit.

I love my transpire shorts. They are lightweight, wicking and dry quickly. Most of all they are stretchy, so not constrictive for movement. They are very comfortable and I like the feel of them. I feel that they are not cloying like some shorts I've tried for my rowing and I don't overheat in them either. Recommend.
I am using Reeds spray deck for 2 years and it is steel like new. I order new one, for my new build kayak. Excellent service and same quality and correct size like old one. Thank you!

AQUATHERM OCEAN COCKPIT TUILIQ (TENT STYLE)
This is my second ChillCheater Drysuit. I owned one ten years ago. The first one didn't have booties. I used it for several years. It kept me dry and safe through more than one cold whitewater swim. I decided to replace it for a Drysuit with booties and latex gaskets. Gaskets tear and booties leak... in fact, most waterproof, breathable fabrics leak after a couple season. So I've come back to Chillcheater. I know it won't let me down.
