This is my s3econd purchase from Reeds after struggling to find a cockpit cover for my kayak due to an awkward size.
I initially contacted Reeds who gave me clear instructions on how to measure the cockpit, few days later I received a perfectly fitting cover.
I followed up with a request for spraydecks and after a few messages to check sizes and few days to make and post, I received perfectly fitting spraydecks.
Fast delivery, great communication and a perfectly fitting, Here’s a polished version that still keeps your enthusiastic tone intact:

This was my second time purchasing from Reeds after struggling to find a cockpit cover that would fit my kayak’s unusual size. Their team responded promptly with clear guidance on how to take accurate measurements, and just a few days later I received a perfectly fitting cover.
I followed up with a request for spraydecks. After a brief exchange to confirm dimensions and another quick turnaround for production and shipping, I received spraydecks that fit like a glove.
Fast delivery, excellent communication, and outstanding product quality, Reeds truly exceeded expectations. Brilliant company!
I'd not heard of a storm cag until I went to Greenland to paddle last year - without one...
I'm going back and have just acquired one in yellow and took it on an overnight paddle to and island in the Firth of Forth.
I'd planned to camp but it wasn't easy to find a spot flat and uninhabited spot (birds) and so I decided to have a fire and just sit up and wait for an appropriate tide on which to leave. Although it was warm the night temperature dropped and I donned the cag which, on me, reaches down to mid calf level. Instant mobile bivvy bag!
I can see myself using this for urban cycling in wet weather as well. And now I'm set up for Greenland paddling too. What an ace bit of kit.
I have bought a Kayak that has a large cockpit and no standard spray deck would fit. After much searching I came across Reed, spoke the Jane, and she could not have been more helpful. In just over a week, they agree to make a bespoke deck for me , I measured it up, and it arrived and fitted perfectly, tight and waterproof. From nothing to dry legs in 10 days I think the company deserves and big pat on the back. Thank you.
As always Reed have an excellent product. I like ghe effective way it protects the paddles without taking up lots of space.
Ordered and delivered to NW Scotland all within three days. Excellent service from Reed and quality kit.
Deck fits perfectly. Very well constructed and excellent quality. I received a phone call after submitting my order to check my order when the measurements I submitted didn’t match the manufacturer’s listed measurements for the kayak just to make sure my deck was manufactured perfectly. Very quick turnaround from ordering to delivery. I have had one of these decks on my previous kayak and loved that. Looking forward to using this one soon.
I bought a Reed spraydeck to replace my neoprene one. The sprayskirt is fantastic; using it in summer, it is not terribly warm as the one in neoprene, and thanks to his softness is possible to keep it rolled up when an absolute seal is not necessary.
Obviously the seal is perfect even in the worst conditions
Perfect in every way! Exactly what I wanted, super quick turnaround, great price. Where else could you get top-end, made-to-measure, bespoke kit at this price (or indeed, any price!)?
I read the write up in paddle uk mag and I was looking for a deck to fit my Romany sea kayak
Making the order was easy and I was contacted to check my order to ensure it was correct for my boat. The deck arrived within a few days and I have now had the chance to try it out. It fits really snug and deflects water really well. A really good product. An even better service and highly recommended. Many thanks
Just received my new paddle suit and delighted with the fit. Feels very comfortable and easy to wear. They were very helpful with my order and amazingly quick at getting it made and posted. Good to support a small British business and Jane who I dealt with was excellent.
Haven’t worn it yet but hopefully keeps me warm, dry and is durable
Firstly, out of the super-secure wrapping, it’s a thing of beauty. Do I really have to decide whether to paddle with it or just hang it on the wall? Paddling won out and it had its first outing to our local lake. Interesting and different from my carbon GP: a fraction lighter but seems to work differently. I found that if I used the same angle as my carbon one, it wobbled. If I held it very loosely with the bottom hand and had an open top hand and straight top arm with good rotation it found its own way. Powering up, it almost felt like there was a slight recoil/bounce as it came out of the water. All in all, an excellent and very quiet paddle. Anglesey next week!
I received a quality service with my purchase.
Starting with communication to verify the size of my kayak cockpit. Once this had been confirmed the spraydeck arrived shortly after.
The spraydeck is an excellent fit for both me and the kayak, I am extremely happy with the service and product.
I wore these for a 4-day canoe trip where I stood or walked in the river several times each day. I wore a thin pair of Injinji toe socks (which I also highly recommend) underneath the Chillcheaters and every day the Injinjis were bone dry when I took the Chillcheaters off. I used to wear wellie boots for canoeing, but they're heavy and my feet get very hot and sweaty in warm weather. I bought the off-the-shelf small size Chillcheaters and my legs are very thin so they go over my trousers, which for me is great. The Chillcheaters are like very thin flexible wellies for me and I love them!
